Will your child be 4 years of age on or before 9/1/2023? If so, you can apply online.
Are you an expectant mother or have children ages birth to 36 months before 9/1/2022? If so, you can complete a pre-application online.
A Family Advocate will make an appointment with you to complete your application at your school choice site.
The following documents are needed for you in order for your application to be complete:
- Proof of age for the child (original birth certificate)
- Proof of Income, four weeks of pay stubs for all family members including child support, or TANF, SSI, SNAP, or a 1040 tax return (2019)
- Photo ID
- Proof of Address (electric, water, cable, lease/mortgage)
Additional Documentation if applicable:
- Documentation of disability: Early Head Start requires a copy of the IFSP. Head Start requires the ESE application ticket. or a copy of the Individual Education Plan (IEP)
- Custody papers if not the natural parent
- Proof of pregnancy is required when applying for Early Head Start
Once the application is complete you will need to apply and obtain a VPK Voucher (4 year old ONLY) through the Early Learning Coalition.
