VPK

The Florida Voluntary PreKindergarten Education Program (VPK) is a free educational program designed to prepare four-year-olds for Kindergarten and build on the foundation for their educational success. It focuses on early literacy, math, and social skills through a play-based curriculum.

VPK is available to all children in Florida who turn four years old on or by September 1st of every school year.

Early Head Start / Head Start

Early Head Start / Head Start is a program of the United States Department of Health and Human Services that provides comprehensive early childhood education, health, nutrition, and parent involvement services to low-income children and families.

Pre-K ESE

The PreK Exceptional Student Education Program offers a variety of program models and options for children from age three through age five who have been identified with developmental delay. The program model is determined at the child's eligibility meeting based on the individual child's needs. In addition, children identified as visually impaired, deaf or hard of hearing receive services from birth through age two.
